Malaysia Still Stands
Text by Olle - Living on Lamai Beach - Wednesday, October 28, 2009

This weekend, on Sunday, we had a little party. I got home just before five in the morning and I can say that I did not walk completely straight forward. The Monday was a less funny day and I did not do anything but trying to rest. When I am hung over I stay that way the complete day so even when it was time to sleep in the evening I felt like a mess. I had not been eating almost anything during the day either. On Tuesday it was time to wake up at 4 o'clock and go to Malaysia to get a stamp in my passport. A very painful trip this time. Too little food and sleep made me quite ill, and after that we stopped and ate at one of the world's worst places I got a very strong pain in my stomach and even though I spat out the first shrimp quickly it seemed like I got enough. We had fried rice with shrimps and the rice tasted like it made several months ago and the prawns were more mealy than flour. It was the same thing last time but thought I had bad luck but now I know that I will not touch the food there next time. The food is included in the trip so it was not my choice to go there again.
At midday, we arrived in Malaysia, where everything went quick and smooth. After the few minutes at the border it was time to go back again. With no doubt the most annoying journey I have ever made in my entire life. The last part by boat felt like an eternity. Just over one and a half hour with a speed of somewhere around 20 km per hour, it is almost like standing still.
When I got home at half past seven, I hurried to eat and then as the idiot I am, I started to work and ended up solving a problem until two o'clock in the night. I have now decided to stop working late. The extra hours of late night work just makes me miss out on the early hours in the morning so I may as well go to bed so I can work earlier instead.
Only one pictures was taken during the trip, I thought it would be some more. As we approached the border it began to rain and then everything went so smoothly that I forgot about it. At the toilet on the boat back to Samui I saw a sticker that I have not seen before and I thought it was a bit comic. I have never thought of that being a problem, but that only proves my lack of knowledge when it comes to toilet behavior, something that does not interest me that much.
Today I went to the gym, very tough, but anyway it felt good, I have not been there for about 4 or 5 days. All the people who I used to see before are gone and I think there will be few people i the gym next month.
Tonight I will turn off the computer as soon as I finished what I am currently doing, my eyes are rolling in my head and I will take the opportunity to sleep or al least rest.
